If you’re a Pay Monthly customer on an eligible O2 tariff, you can use your minutes, texts and data in O2’s Europe Zone just like you would at home, at no extra cost. A 25GB roaming limit applies, so if your plan includes more than 25GB of data, you can use up to 25GB while roaming in Europe.

Once you reach the 25GB roaming limit, you’ll need to purchase a Bolt On to continue using data.

Outside Europe

Roaming outside O2’s Europe Zone depends on your tariff. Selected O2 plans include roaming in additional destinations, while other plans may require an O2 Travel Bolt On or incur additional charges.

O2 Travel is available in 75 destinations outside Europe, including the USA, Australia and New Zealand. It costs £7 per day on days you use it and includes unlimited minutes, texts and data.

Vodafone Pay Monthly customers can use their minutes, texts and data when travelling abroad, depending on their plan and destination.

Roaming in Zone A is included with all Pay Monthly plans and covers the Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man, Iceland and Norway. Other European destinations may be included with your plan, or a £2.75 daily roaming charge may apply.

Some Vodafone plans also include roaming across additional destinations worldwide. Depending on your plan, you may be able to use your UK allowance abroad or purchase a roaming pass.

A fair usage policy may apply, including a 25GB data limit when roaming on eligible plans. Roaming charges, destinations and allowances vary by plan, so check your Vodafone plan before travelling to see what’s included.

Three’s Go Roam lets eligible customers use their minutes, texts and data when travelling abroad, with coverage across 160+ destinations worldwide. What’s included depends on your Three plan, with some plans offering inclusive roaming and others requiring a daily charge or Go Roam Pass.

For plans started or upgraded from 18 December 2025, the daily charge is £2.75 for Go Roam in Europe and £8 for Go Roam Around the World destinations. Fair usage limits may apply, including a 12GB data allowance when roaming.
